Others: She's blind, and the 'transmitter' on her head acts as eyes. Here eyes were damaged from looking at a sun, which orbits too close to their planet ever 2500 earth years. No one told her that she must shield her eyes, and it resulted in her sight being terminated.

About the Hyperions:
Their planet is (was) very stereo typically space-like. It was like a future Earth, with flying cars, floating homes, etc. Their main purpose was to collect star-dust from near planet's, which was used to power up their cars, shoes (jet-pack-like-shoes), space ships, etc. They ran into trouble when their neighboring planet had been taken over by the notorious planet-hoppers. This gang was made up out of the most wanted creatures in the world. One of them had the power to make a black hole, wherever they wanted, which proved as a deadly weapon. They went from planet to planet, taking their stuff and taking over the planet itself. When the planet-hoppers came to Hyperionna, They soon had many hostage, and threatened to throw them into a black-hole. They eventually did, and many did not have the chance to escape. Andromeda, on the other hand, got into her spaceship, alongside a few others in theirs, and flew off to a far away planet. She crash landed on Earth, no fuel left, and stranded from the others. She chooses to stay here, and learn about this planet. As many of the Hyperions were wiped out, she became the 'Dame Of Space' as she is one of the few left in the universe of her kind. Her royal dress is as pictured on the right.

Why does she look so much like an 'human' on the left?
Because when she entered Earths atmosphere, her transmitter made her look like how she does, this is used as a defense, so no one on earth would attack her for being a different species, as well as being able to breathe the earths gases.

Her transmitter is slightly damaged, so from time to time, she glitches quickly into her normal form (pictured on the right). But, as long as the transmitter is on her head, she can breathe. If it's not, she'd put her helmet on.
